What We Learned in the Workshop (And What’s Next!)

Last night, I hosted a free online workshop called Wellness Without the Overwhelm: A Reset for Busy Moms, and I wanted to share a few highlights in case you missed it—or just need a little reminder that you deserve care too.


We focused on the three pillars of Part 1 of the Busy Mom Reset:


  1. Prioritizing yourself without guilt

  2. Setting boundaries to make time for wellness

  3. Starting small (and making it stick)


We talked about simple things you can do in just 5–10 minutes:

  • Journaling a few thoughts to clear your head

  • Taking a short walk or stretching in the sun

  • Dancing to music that lifts your mood


Because the truth is: wellness doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.


Then we imagined what life could feel like if we intentionally set aside just 30 minutes a week for ourselves. Moms shared beautiful, simple ideas like:

  • Reading a book (without interruption!)

  • Taking a walk in the park or near work during lunch

  • Enjoying a power nap without guilt


One of the ideas that really resonated was this:

Boundaries aren’t walls. They’re clarity and kindness in action.

Setting boundaries isn’t about shutting people out. It’s about showing your loved ones how to connect with you in ways that support everyone. Boundaries actually make relationships stronger.
